To help you get to know the people behind ZD, we introduce you our employees from different departments regularly. This time, our HR Manager Stefan Nosol, gave us a little insight into his work and experiences at ZD:
Overview |
Name: Stefan Nosol | Job title: HR Manager |
Department: HR department | At ZD since: 11.06.2019 |
I am the Head of Human Resources. I am also responsible for the certification of information security (TISAX according to DIN 27001). I am also the fire prevention and security officer.
ZD Automotive GmbH was previously a client of mine for labour leasing. Due to the good cooperation, I was asked to take over respectively build up the human resources department. The offer convinced me and therefore I switched to ZD.
ZD Automotive GmbH is a social, modern and family company. There are many positive aspects working here. Some of them are: the flat and familiar hierarchy e. g. one can contribute his own ideas which can be heard and accepted, freedom of decision through trust and recognition for one’s performance. What I value most is the work-life balance with flexible working hours and much more. All in all, ZD is the ideal employer for me.
As Head of Human Resources, I am not only responsible for the HR team, but also the contact person for every single person in the company. One of the biggest challenges is to adapt to each person. Different nationalities, mentalities, personalities, needs, etc. are important touch points that need to be carefully addressed.
The 10 most important points for me to successfully master the role in the company are:
Company events such as Oktoberfest and Starkbierfest (before Corona). As well as joint events such as bowling or employee party.
The biggest success, of course, is achieving the position I am in, as well as the certification of TISAX according to DIN 27001 information security. Also, the successful and more efficient development of the human resources department with constant expansion.
My personally most important tip is openness. Openness gives confidence and is the cornerstone of every good application.
At this point we would like to thank Stefan for the interview and his work with us in the HR department. If you are interested in any jobs with us, you will find open positions in this Overview.
